Meet Our Founder
Paula M. Dryden is the founder and principal designer of Plan D Design Studio. After securing her undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio, Paula began her interior design career in Cleveland, Ohio. There she thoughtfully advanced through small, medium, and large design and architecture firms that specialized in commercial spaces for healthcare, higher education, and business. A favorite collaborator of the architects and senior designers she partnered with, Paula grew her reputation as a champion of utility of function married with effortless flow and seamless design integration.
Moving to Boise, Idaho in the late 1990s Paula became a key member of one of Boise’s premier interior design firms. This experience introduced her to the region’s most notable architects and established her as a go-to designer for some of the Treasure Valley’s largest healthcare and education infrastructure developments. As her young family grew, Paula invested her passion and energy growing and diversifying Plan D Design Studio. In-between select residential design projects and large commercial project contract work, Paula developed relationships with top local photography and videography professionals. Her ability to style authentic, detail-rich photo and video sets for product marketing campaigns earned her the trust of clients and the preference of her creative peers.
Today, Paula continues to advance the image and capabilities of Plan D through her own project leadership as well as a long-term contract relationship with a wellestablished architecture firm serving civic, healthcare, financial, and real estate development clients across the Western U.S.
